Full Living: Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy
Offices in Philadelphia and Glenside
Psychedelics have a long history of being used to facilitate emotional, spiritual and relational transformations. The psychotherapy world began its documented efforts to explore ways psychedelics might be used in clinical settings to help folx do important psychological work atarting in the 60's. While a lot of that work got shut down by federal laws and regulations, some of the research continued, both underground and with the Federal Drug Administration. Now the FDA and top research facilities across the country have been engaged in clinical trials to see how the power of various psychedelics might be harnessed to leverage against classic mental health diagnosis, including Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Drug and Alcohol Addictions.
Psychedelics provide a novel tool for accessing unconscious material while in a conscious, lucid state, allowing us to connect with our own inner healing wisdom. We can find answers from our core, have opportunities to see ourselves, our relationships and our lives from totally different perspectives, and derail our default mode processing.
With the help and support of a psychotherapist specifically trained in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, you will set plans and intentions for your medicine sessions, get guidance and containment from a therapist sitting right at your side, and learn tools for integrating what you learned in your session.
Each prospective client receives a free initial consultation with Full Living’s director/founder to help determine if you are a good candidate for psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, to walk you through the process of obtaining a prescription, and to help access the best modality for your work. To schedule a free intake appointment, please email us, call the office.
